Fiat Group Purchasing is the company responsible for managing the Group's procurement activities. It provides synergies at group level through integration of purchasing activities from both a managerial and organizational perspective. It defines purchasing strategies for shared commodities. It establishes and develops a global partnership with suppliers, providing them stability and the opportunity for development.
Fiat Group Purchasing operates in Italy and the rest of Europe, the Americas and Asia with some 1,800 employees and manages purchasing of around €29 billion per annum.
The sectors that rely on the services provided by Fiat Group Purchasing are Fiat Group Automobiles, FPT Powertrain Technologies, Iveco and Case New Holland.
