As a result of the Group’s achievements and commitment in the area of sustainability, it has received numerous awards and recognition, including the following:

  • In 2011, Fiat SpA’s inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe was reconfirmed
  • Fiat Group took second place at the CSR Online Awards Italy 2011 for its online communication on sustainability
  • According to Green Rankings 2011, published by Newsweek magazine and produced in collaboration with Trucost and Sustainalytics, Fiat SpA ranks 1st in the “Vehicles & Components” sector and 29th among the world’s 500 largest publicly-traded companies based on environmental footprint, environmental management and transparency.
  • For the Árvore da Vida project in Brazil, Fiat received the Cidadãos do Mundo 2011 award in the Corporate Social Responsibility category by the newspaper Hoje em Dia.
  • In 2011, Chrysler Group for having truly embraced a culture of wellness aimed at improving employees’ health and quality of life was awarded with a gold medal as one of the leading corporations by the US National Business Group on Health.
  • In 2011, Fiat Services, which manages Fiat Group’s administrative services in Italy participated in the project Companies that Invest in Women, an initiative launched by the Equal Opportunities Councilor of the Piedmont Region in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor, and was recognized as being among the “most virtuous companies for the significant representation of female employees and managers
  • Chrysler Group’s commitment to equal opportunities and diversity received several recognitions during 2011, including, for the fifth time, the Top 50 Companies for Diversity award from DiversityInc Magazine.
