Fiat S.p.A. recognizes the importance of making its website accessible and easy to use so that the information provided is available to all users. Following is a statement of the Group’s commitment to ensuring the accessibility of its web services, accompanied by a list of the key accessibility features of the corporate website (www.fiatspa.com)

Commitment to accessibility

The corporate website (www.fiatspa.com) follows the accessibility guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Where it is not possible to use a technology recommended by the W3C, or where use of such technology results in sub-optimum results, an equally accessible alternative is used.

Fiat S.p.A. reviews, tests and continuously updates the site to ensure it is accessible and is committed to conformity with the accessibility guidelines. A team of Fiat S.p.A. personnel and external specialists is dedicated to the continuous search for solutions to improve the site.

Fiat’s corporate web site (www.fiatspa.com) currently has the following accessibility features:

  • All content provided on the site is clear and easily understandable and every page is available in a printable format.
  • The pages have been optimized for viewing at 1024x768. The site has also been designed, however, to enable viewing at 800x600 and 1280x1024.
  • Images are accompanied by an explanatory text that essentially has the same function or purpose.
  • All text and graphics are understandable even if viewed in monochrome.
  • All documents are marked up with the proper structural elements. Presentation is controlled using style sheets rather than presentation elements and attributes.
